FEATURED ARTIST

Behind the Camera
My name is Kevin Dierschke. I started getting serious about photography six years ago, and to this day I’m loving every minute of it. I started out taking pictures with my iPhone and was spurred on by my friends who thought I had a knack for capturing interesting compositions. I graduated to using a dslr camera about a year ago . I have been fortunate to have several photos chosen for “photo of the week” online by the I-Phone School of Photography-which is followed by over 450,000 users. I was honored to have a selection in their top 100 photos of 2017. I’m also able to blend my love of photography with my appreciation of music. My work is featured as album art on “Hymns for the Hardened Heart” by the acclaimed singer songwriter Brent Loveday.
I always enjoyed taking pictures, but I was inspired to really consider it as an artistic and professional pursuit when a friend told me I have an eye for photography. It has awakened in me the artist I never knew was there. Now when I'm traveling on a plane to live my dream snapping that shutter button or driving those back country roads to find that special shot, I know that photography will always be a part of my life.
